I just got back on late yesterday. I would like to help with the CoP 2-5 farming if it happens again. I already have one Tailfeather from the last time we farmed the Giant Scales for the group Sam took for 4-5, or maybe it was the 3rd mission, not sure exactely.

The feathers stack. We (by "we" I mean you) trade two feathers to some guy in Tav. Safehold and gives us (by "us" I still mean you) a mistmelt.

Mismelts are EX items. DL wants our tank to hold the mostest mistmelts possible; alternately DK or I can hold a few.

Sweet, since you can't hold this stuff too long, we will have to complete the mission rather quickly. :-)

Refresh my memory, is 4-2 a 40-cap or a 50?

I have gear for both for NIN, and am obviously past 50, so I can do either. I just need to know.

Now... how many mismelts am I to hold? That's my next question... I will probably have to do some gear shuffling Friday before the event to do this.

Also, this might lock my NIN down at its current level as I wont be able to hold the tools necessary to continue leveling. So, yes, we will have to get 4-2 done quickly so I can get back to my life :-P

It's a 50 cap mission.

How many will you need to hold? /shrug. But, if last night's conversation with DL is any indication it's would be quite a few. When I asked him if 6 mistmelts was a decent amount (forgot to mention, these are NON-stackable) and he responded with: "at least."

How about we play it like this: you hold as many as you can (within reason and taking into consideration all seven-billion ninja tool things) and I'll hold the rest.

As far as the actual battle is concerned, I would suspect that after casting Freeze, I will need to rest. I can always run to the mob while he is in flight...

BAH, I eat tofu burgers and have primarily a vegetarian diet because a) I don't like red meat very much, b) I don't like the current industrial farming process (screws everyone from farmers to livestock) and c) I have a freaking history of severe diabetes, high blood pressure and heart problems in my family!

Anyway... what I'm going to do is call on some of my so-called FRIENDS (real friends wouldn't make you hold so many damned mistmelts) and have them hold some of my gear. Now, this gear will be rather expensive, so these rat-bastards better not fucking leave the game or get banned or something.

The only problem is that I will need a bit of time before I do the actual quest for the melts to clear all this gear.
