The defendant was up on kidnapping charges.
The lawyer was Joe Caramagno.

Also, from this we find that Mr. Caramagno was the defendant's private attorney and that the defedant still hasn't received a refund nor has he spoken with Mr. Caramagno since the day of the mistrial.
