I just wanted to say that Thursday Assaults continue, and as a general rule Clan Members DO show up for them. I believe we now have one month of Thursday Assaults behind us. Last Thursday we did four Assaults.

Due to all the questions about "what Assault are you doing?" I always respond "Golden Salvage with level 60 cap" but recently we have been doing just as much "Imperial Agent Rescue at level 60" as "Golden Salvage". Last Thursday we almost had two five-member teams heading out for Assault but we were shy of level 58, 59, 60 tanks.

So if you are wondering what it takes to get your favorite Assault done the default has turned into a "whiners' fest"! LOL! I just play the Thursday game for fun so the individual who can state WHAT item they are saving assault points for, and which Assault(s) will contribute those points - well, we take a quick vote of whether our group is up for that person's Assault. I no longer have a real agenda on Thursdays, I just play for fun and ask folks to try to get their Assault Staging Points in advance and not ask the gathered folk for too much time in getting the needed staging point.

We may make an exception on a case-by-case basis as you can now ride Chocobos in the Thickets and the Woodlands. I just finished testing this.

I still think Assault is the most fun to be found in FFXI.
