Golagres once made an argument that once i looked at it i had no choice but to agree with his logic. To make this easy to understand i'll use the following figures...
In a party where members are 50, 50, 50, 50, 50, and a 51 (1k tnl)
It is therefore rude for the 51 to pop his exp ring... this will tank the exp for the rest of the party sooner. which can overal be worse for the party than if he was to wait till after he lvled to pop his exp ring... I have known of this trick since its release... actual gol stummbled on it shortly after that patch within a few days. However I personal would boot someone who decided they wanted to warp back to wherever to charge their ring so they could use it again... being a player who knows that trick.. i'd kick them shortly after they left. So you have to determine if possibly being booted and recieving no exp is worth this extra 1k bonus and honestly i'd consider that a blistable offense... just my two cents.

That is a good way to solo with your xp ring. Hopefully you can use it, and find a party when you login, and gain the 1000xp bonus before 180 mins is up.


Another trick with the ring. When you use your last charge, you can take it back and have it "refilled". When you do, it also resets the timer on it. Meaning, you can use it twice that party! (Once before you leave, fill it, again when it wears) NOTE: This only works after your LAST charge. He will still "refill" it if it's not empty, but it won't reset the timer.
