Ok i have had a lot of free time in being bored while studing for finals. So i have finally read up on assault and it looks like it will kick ass. 30min of hard-down and dirty fun with some really great prizes if you get enough points.

I don't know about you all but for me (sam.)
Potent Belt lvl 60 +3 str +8 acc 10k points
Chivalrous Chain lvl 60 +4 str +5 acc 8k points

OMG what more could a sam ask for.
Well once finals are over for me I plan on taking part in assault as much as I can.

What is the name of the two Assaults we should sign up for? As I understand it you plan to hold an Assault on Saturday - can we go ahead and sign up for one now?

Staging Areas vs. Assault Names seem a bit confusing to me. I suppose after I do a few it will all make sense.

Loaded question, will try to be as brief as possible.

Since, for a majority of us, this is a first attempt at Assault only one mission will be listed by any given zone NPC (within the Commissions Agency).

As yet, I do not know our setup or if the event will even happen; I would NOT sign-up for any Assaults. If the event is canceled, you will have committed yourself to an Assault zone and possibly wasted a Tag (unless you can find a group to do the Assault for which you obtained a Tag).

Visit the NPC for the Azouph staging point for the Assault mission: Leujaoam Cleansing (I believe that is the title). Visit the NPC for the Halvung staging point for the Assault mission: Excavation duty. If memory serves me correctly, these are the first two NPCs on the right hand side of the aisle (if you are looking at the back of the room).

In the event that we do not have enough people, I will /shout for an Assault pickup. You all are more than welcome to join; however, the mission selection may change.

Also, FYI: I have reserved the Hostel for 3PM on Saturday.

I don't know how this Assault thing will start off. I don't know what it will look like after one month. For one thing if nine folks show up you can apparently do an Assault of five and an Assault of four and have a decent chance to win.

Assault is like ordering meals from a menu, apparently. It is reported to be nothing like Spire ENM where you have the same arena, the same objective, across the the Crags.

My personal opinion:
Clan Assault will be limited only by the number of Clan Members willing to play Host; but right now only Cyclonus is hosting so we will have to wait and see how it turns out.

Talk to Avayr and offer to be the Host for Assault here on the web site?

I suggested to Avayr we give up one of our Static Nights for Assault(maybe a Wednesday night start at 10PM Eastern?) He said dropping one night was a possibility.

For Assault 'Tags' it is my understanding this is how it would work:

Tags appear to support doing two Assault Statics per week.

FWIW, as an incentive for other people to join in, one of the items you can get from Assault is this Pahluwan Qalansuwa, which is a head item that is a great alternative to the expensive and time consuming Optical Hat for a number of jobs.

I can't see any reason I would not be there except maybe an auto accident! LOL!

ToAU has a simplified list of Missions. To do Assault you have to accomplish some missions. These are very simple, solo, Missions so don't freak out, just finish the first four and you should be good!
